prayers please

We are exhausted tonight so this will be a short post. Coy had a hard time breathing today and a chest x-ray this afternoon showed he had fluid on his lungs. Please pray that this fluid will go away and his breathing will improve. Please beg God for our son--for him to be healthy, grow stronger, and for him to not suffer in this process.
Please pray for our strength--physical, emotional, and spiritual. We are having a rough time coping tonight....

Hang in there, Ann Marie and Chris!!! I am sending you positive "milking vibes" and positive thought vibes!!! I know how hard the pumping thing is... I figured out that I was spending 4+ hours a day pumping milk for Jaxson (once you pump for 15 minutes, and then spend 15 min. putting it away and washing pump parts... multiplied by 8!) It all pays off in the end. Coy reaps the benefit of all of that great milk and it's antibodies. Also, down the road you will be able to put him to the breast and that is the most wonderful feeling. We've struggled with it, but whatever we're able to do, I am thankful for. I'm now down to 3-4 pumpings a day, so it does get better. Keep your heads up! Jaxson had fluid on his lungs at one point as well and was on lasix to correct it.... that was a really rough time for me too. I will keep saying prayers for you and Coy! Get some rest, Coy is in very good hands... you guys need to stay well for him. Sending you hugs!!!

I feel your hurt and know your fears - I really do. I love your heart and I AM praying for Coy. God WILL bring our boys through this. and one day they will run and play as little 4 year old friends! Hang on to that for now. I will pray for Coy as a dear friend of mine prayed over Kyle. "breathe in, breathe out, breathe in the breath of God little man."

Prayed off and on all night. Didn't even know Coy had troubles as I didn't read this post until today. Everytime I wake up (or one of my kids wakes me up) in the night, I pray again for Coy.

Coy is in excellent medical hands and in the hands of God as well. It's an unbeatable team. Every time fear comes at you, respond with God's word. It will build up your own strength and remind the devil of his place.

Praying without ceasing!

Coy obvious is a fighter like his father and mother. Keep battling and know how proud and supportive we are of your family. God has placed Coy on your shoulders because he knows how strong and broad they are .... I am grateful you were a part of my life ...

AnnMarie and Chris: And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. Standing in agreement with your petition for Coy's total healing. Believing God's dried up the fluid in lungs, driven out any infection and protects your little angel.

Dear Ann Marie and Chris,
We've been praying for you and keeping up with how Coy is doing on your blog. We completely understand how tiring it is to be pumping around the clock. We too are coming to grips with understanding God's sovereignty and goodness in the life of our son. By the way, James is doing better and has been home for a month.

In Him,
John & Kelly Ma (John in your BSF discussion group)
