Miraculous!

"I give you my word, if you are ready to believe that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer, it shall be done for you." Mark 11:24

Today was nothing short of miraculous! Chris and I are still speechless...

The doctor approached us this afternoon and stated the echocardiogram DID NOT show a PDA! The duct is closed!! How amazing!! Here is the Lord; he is with us!
Also, the blood cultures have not grown anything yet....meaning no infection is present!
He's still on the Dopamine, however they will hopefully stop this tomorrow.
The doctor looked at us in amazement---she was actually pretty speechless herself...

Of course the day got better because I got to hold Coy on my chest for 2 hours (called Kangaroo care)! He was so peaceful and slept most of the time. It was an amazing two hours and I can't wait to do it everyday!! (Chris can hold him too; he asked the nurse if he should shave his chest; she laughed and said that's not necessary)

We are so grateful for the good news today; we still have a long way to go, but know God is here protecting over our baby boy. We are so thankful to you all for all the prayers; please continue to pray for our little miracle!!!!!

Please pray for the PDA to remain closed; for his urine output to remain stable; for his vitals to stay stable; for his blood gases to improve so they can wean down the ventilator; for his labs to remain stable; for no brain bleeding; for Coy to be comfortable & pain free with all the sticks from IVs & blood draws being done; for our little man to tolerate his feedings when they are started tomorrow; for him to sleep & grow!!!!

Oh, I am just in tears right now. That picture is precious and I can only imagine how wonderful you must feel right now. It felt like an enternity before I could hold my babies again in the hospital after they took them to be weighed, cleaned, etc. and it was only 2 hours. I know you have waited so long for this moment.

I pray that Coy just hearing his mama's heartbeating will give him every ounce of strength he needs to grow. What a precious, precious child and how lucky he was to be born to such wonderful parents. You and Chris are an amazing inspiration to anyone going through tough times right now.

You are truly children of Lord and it reflects in every post. I know y'alls lives are being touched with every prayer and kind word, but y'all are touching so many lives in return.

Again, what an awesome day for the three of y'all. Our prayers will continue in hopes of many more wonderful posts!!!

I heard about Coy from a friend earlier this week and was touched because our daughter had an extended stay in the NICU. I know how emotionally and physically draining it can be, especially when you aren't able to hold your baby. I'm so excited that you were able to spend special time with him today. I pray that you are able to see tangible reminders of God's faithfulness and love for the 3 of you each day!

What an amazing thing to read!!! I am so excited for you guys. The prayers are working!! God is listening and He will continue to take care of Coy and hold him in His hands to protect him.

We will keep praying for more miracles to happen each and every day and for Coy to continue to grow stronger and bigger. I know being close to your heart and feeling you guys hold him will do just that... help him know he is where he belongs.

Congrats you guys for such a wonderful day. What a true blessing! =) Our prayers are with you day and night for Coys health, strength and growth. May God continue to bless you with many more miracles to come.

Congratulations on the amazingly wonderful news! Our 30-weeker Jaxson had a PDA which was closed with the medication... I am soooooo happy for you that Coy has none... what a relief! The picture of Ann Marie kangarooing with Coy is precious.... it looks almost identical to my first time with Jaxson. When they told me I could hold him that first time, I was ecstatic, and it was so wonderful, so I know how you felt. :) The kangaroo care position is Jaxson's favorite position to be held to this day. I read your last post today while holding Jaxson and together we said a prayer for you guys. We will continue to pray for great days to come. Hugs!

Praise the Lord!! He is good!

When I popped in this morning to check on Coy, I cried because I surely didn't expect to see kangaroo care quite yet. I've prayed and prayed that it would go on as planned and am thankful beyond words for this answer to prayer.

Oh, Ann Marie, I am so happy to see this picture of you with Coy. If it made my day, I can only imagine how you feel. I know that Coy can feel your love. He was waiting for this day just as much as you and Chris. Not only do I admire how close your family is with the Lord, but I know that so many people have been touched by your family's journey. It is amazing how many people you, Chris, and Coy have brought together in prayer. Coy is truly a little angel! I will continue to pray that his body will fight against infection and that his strength will continue to grow. I pray for God's plan for Coy and for the peace in your hearts.
Take care and have a wonderful day!

Chris and Ann Marie,
I join the prayer warriors in storming the gates of heaven for your little Coy. I see the Lord already using his life for the Lord's glory because of your walk of faith. He is a mighty testimony to the power of prayer. You and your families are being held in the loving hand of our Abba Father. I pray you will continue to feel His presence.
