almost...

Keep praying y'all....plan is still for Friday! Chris & I will be staying down at the hospital tomorrow night (Thursday) doing "Care by Parent." This is to be sure we can handle everything...we were trained on the apnea & pulse ox monitor and oxygen tanks/regulators today...

Since I wont be blogging again until we have him home on Friday, pray for a safe commute home!

Coy had another eye exam today that looked good! Great news, I was really nervous about this!

Can't wait to post "We're Home..."

What a miracle he is ...truly!!
I am blessed to see him grow and see you believe how good God is!! continuing to pray here in KY!!

Praise God! I have been praying with you and all of your now huge extended family of prayer warriors all along & now I am rejoicing with you! God is SO good. I know you will be home safe & sound tomorrow. Boy is he a cutie - now he can get to know his cousin - I bet they are going to be great buds- how awesome for both of them to grow up that way. Hope to meet him sometime in person maybe when Grandma has him out & about as he gets older.
God Bless,

Thanks be to God!

Paul and I are so excited for the three of you. What a wonderful way to reflect on life leading into Palm Sunday and Easter.

All three of our children started out in the NICU, but they didn't face a fraction of the hurdles Coy has as a 23 weeker. Paul and I have experienced our own fears and frustrations, enduring four long years of infertility, Luke our first born had a seizure after birth, he later needed daily Thyroid medicine and routine bloodwork (to "prevent mental retardation" as the brain grows and develops), the arrival of premature twins & all that goes with it (CPAP, oxygen, gavage feedings, bottle feedings, blood oxygen levels, IVs...)and all the bumps and bruises since. I really had a tough time understanding that it is not MY will be done in life.

I only mention this to say you guys have shown such AMAZING honesty, faith and grace during this journey even on the tough days (I am truly in awe). And these are the best gifts you could ever give Coy. He is so very lucky to have you both as his parents. Coy's story, your story, continues to touch so many people.

We will say special prayers for you tonight. Luke's nightly prayer has been "Dear Jesus thank you for loving us, help us to love baby Coy in the hospital. Help him get strong and come home so he can learn to ride scooters and bicycles and watch TV".

May you all be home together tomorrow.

Holly, Paul, Luke, Ella and Aaron

Today's the day! We are all praying for a safe trip home and easy days ahead for the three of you. How wonderful God is and how blessed you two are to have such a beautiful son. We look forward to all the future postings of how well Coy is doing at home and seeing pictures at how much he is growing. What a miracle he is and what amazing parents you guys are. Thank you for your daily blogs. I read them without fail and I am so thankful for your honesty and uplifiting spirit. You both have changed the lives of so many people, me included, and we will forever be grateful. May God continue to bless you guys and your little fighter, Coy.

I am new to the site. Amanda Jones sent me the link. I started from the beginning to get to know Coy - ( I love the name!)
I wish I had been in touch sooner, but I am also glad to be in the thick of the prayers for you when you go home. I had a micro preemie also (25 wks, 15 oz) so I want you to know that I am here if you need some support! I took her home at 4lbs, 8oz. I remember Rooming In (I was so nervous!) and then going home - and staying home for a long time. I enjoyed those months and now, it just seems like a long, long time ago! You are going to see God work in you and your hubby, bringing you closer together like never before, now that you are going home! Me and Hadley wish we were there to see COY! Congratulations on that NICU Graduation! WE already love him!
