quick update

Coy had another wonderful day. He stayed around 21% oxygen (room air) majority of the day and was sating high (above 95%). The next step would be to wean the liter flow--he's currently at 2L, they will take it down to 1.5 L and so forth...to go home it needs to be weaned to 1/8 L. We attempted breastfeeding again; he wasn't too interested today; he was sleepy at his 3 pm feed; so we will try again tomorrow! We were able to give him a bath tonight and change his bed. Chris did a good job at changing his diaper and his clothes. It was really neat to see them bond; Coy was staring at his daddy and his daddy back at him; they look just alike! Please continue to pray for Coy's total and complete healing!

Ann Marie and Chris,

I love all the pictures of Coy! He is just so cute, I esp. love the one of mommy and baby. :) I have been thinking about you and praying for Coy, I'm happy today and yesterday were great days! That's wonderful news about his decreased need for O2... Hopefully it will continue to decrease! I hope tomorrow will be another wonderful day with Coy... Take care,

Love,

Ann, Shawn, and Jaxson

I love the pictures, he has changed so much in the last few days. I guess the weight is what is making him such a cutie. Too bad it doesn't make me cuter!
