Coy loves his paci...

Today was an AMAZING day for Coy...he was weaned to a CPAP of 6 and remained on 21% oxygen all day! This is pretty amazing for us to witness!! His feedings were increased to 25cc every 3 hours and he was waking up 30 minutes early hungry!! He was dressed in his Camo outfit by one of his awesome primary nurses and loved his pacifier....

All I can say is we have an AWESOME GOD and we need to praise him!!

Here are so pictures of Coy today sucking on his paci...

I just LOVE reading about how GREAT Coy is doing. And Yes, Praise God! Keep on breathing, keep on eating, and get big and strong so you can go home!

Thanks for sharing the pictures - they were absolutely ADORABLE! Coy is ADORABLE!

Ann Marie and Chris,

Coy is just so precious! I am so happy for you! You are blessed with a beautiful baby! Sounds like he's going to start growing like crazy too with how hungry he is! Jaxson used to do that too... he'd be chompin' 30 minutes before feedings! Congrats also on the 'room air' and the decreased CPAP setting... that is just wonderful news! Nasal canula here we come!

Love,

Ann, Shawn, and Jaxson

What a precious Angel!
Chris and Ann Marie your story and your journey inspire me every day!!!! After reading your blog this morning I was reminded of scripture in Luke 1:46-49
"My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant, From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me--HOLY IS HIS NAME."

I am joining with you in praising God for seeing Coy through the last week. I know it was long and hard, but how fantastic that he's already better than he started.

I'm still praying for his heart to beat perfectly, lung development, infection-free, healthy eyes...all these things we lift up to the Great Healer.

As always, thanks so much for keeping us posted. My kids are always asking how Baby Coy is doing.

Blessings,

Lynne Piper

I love the camo sleeper that Coy has on! It's perfect isn't it? He has his full armor on in every sense!
There is nothing too difficult for the God of everything!
Peace to your hearts,

What beautiful pictures! I haven't checked the blog in a while (I found your site through prayforjoseph's site when you first left a comment there.) Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how your site has ministered to me today . . . your words, Scripture, the music. The Lord knew I needed to visit here today. And I will continue to pray for healing for Coy. I look forward to the time I read that you're able to take him home!
