We are the proud parents of a 23 week micro preemie, Coy, born December 3rd, 2007. He weighed 1 lb 4 oz and was 12.5 inches long at birth. He is now an energetic, healthy, happy toddler that keeps us on our toes!
On July 17, 2009 we were blessed to welcome, Cydney, after 14 weeks of hospital bedrest. Born at 34 weeks gestation, she spent 12 days in the NICU.
We are so grateful for your love, support, and prayers throughout our struggles and we are rejoicing in the goodness of our God.
Thank you for continuing to follow our journey.
Hi AnnMarie - I'm so happy that Coy is doing so well. You have been truly blessed!! On the cereal help, for my 2 boys I would mix a little of a stage 1 fruit like applesauce to give it some flavor. Or buy a size bigger nipple and mix it in his formula and will it make it a little thicker and keep him fuller longer. Good Luck!!
Ann Marie and Chris---What a wonderful little man you have! He's so amazing. I'm so glad I finally got to meet him. He's so much cuter in person. And his Grandma and I got him to grin some big old grins for me. It was great. I hope in 6 months I get to see him again (if not sooner) and maybe I'll get to hold him then. I was afraid to touch him because I know his immune system is fragile. I didn't want him to get any "dental germs" from me. :)
I love the rolling over video. Cute!! And I knew he'd be the winner against his cousin. He's so strong! But I bet Ryder can take him! :) I absolutely LOVE the pix of the 2 boys with their Grandpa. And also the ones with the Great Grandparents. Thanks for posting those. Oh, also, Kathy showed me the books you and Jenny made. Those are great! I know Kathy and Gary on on cloud 9 having those 2 good looking grandkids around.
Good luck with the sleep study tomorrow night. You are all still in my prayers.
This is terrific! I am so pleased that Coy is rolling! You have no idea how great this is----oh wait, you DO have an idea of how great this is. Now's the time to start contemplating baby proofing the house...I am so pleased for you guys!
