Coy had a good day. Tonight he will get his last scheduled dose of antibiotics. This also means that his IV will be removed from his arm which is awesome. Pray with us that he will remain infection free and will no longer need any IV's. Coy's oxygen requirements were between 25-35% today. He also got new CPAP prongs today which are a little bigger than his last ones. They seem to be somewhat uncomfortable for him in his little nostrils but he kept pulling the last ones out so hopefully these bigger ones will stay in better. Additional prayer request are:
- Pray for Coy's eye check up tomorrow
- Pray for Coy to tolerate all of his milk
- Pray for Coy to require mimimal oxygen levels
- Pray for Coy to gain weight slowly but surely
Thanks so much for the prayers!

heyy.
I just wanted y'all to know I'm praying for you. I met Chris a few years ago when he played baseball with my other friend at Rice. I also want y'all to know I was born 5 weeks premature. I know it is alittle different than Coy's situation but I was also started on oxygen. I was eventually weened off of it and I have had no repercussions of it. My parents told me that it was through love and support from family and friends that I was able to get off the oxygen and live the life style I am now. Y'all have oodles of support and love and I can tell Coy is going to grow up to be great.
Praying for Coy and expecting nothing but perfect eyes at his eye exam!
I am friends with Tasha Pool and found out about Coy through her. Have you seen his slideshow on her blog? http://homeshade.com/?m=20080126
It's 4 am, and I couldn't sleep and prayed for Coy and checked his progress. In addition I wanted to add that from the first time I heard about Coy, of course my husband and I have been praying for him, but we also have been praying for you and your husband, specifically for your future... for Coy's first days at home, for his first "owie," for your future pregnancies, and future children... for the GRACE to grieve what you lost in having a child born so early... also, for a return to a "normal" life as Coy grows and comes home and further down the road when you want to have more children.
Blessings to you.
I'm so glad I have got to follow your story, it is a story of God's grace and miracles!
Thank you for sharing and I will be praying for you all this week!

Hello-
I wanted to thank you for sharing Coy with us. Everytime I look at this I feel moved and rejoice in the Lord. I just went back and read about Coy's first few days of life and he has gone through so much, as well as you as parents. God has blessed you with an amazing, strong, beautiful baby boy. He is an absolute miracle. You have the most moving words that I love reading. I pray for all of you. God Bless You
