We are the proud parents of a 23 week micro preemie, Coy, born December 3rd, 2007. He weighed 1 lb 4 oz and was 12.5 inches long at birth. He is now an energetic, healthy, happy toddler that keeps us on our toes!
On July 17, 2009 we were blessed to welcome, Cydney, after 14 weeks of hospital bedrest. Born at 34 weeks gestation, she spent 12 days in the NICU.
We are so grateful for your love, support, and prayers throughout our struggles and we are rejoicing in the goodness of our God.
Thank you for continuing to follow our journey.
Chris & AnnMarie--Our thoughts and prayers are with you both and with your precious baby Coy every minute. Cherish every moment you get to spend with him as I know you do and keep us updated on his remarkable progress. Love to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, too. Denie & Pops Lunsmann
Chris & Anne Marie, This is my first time to view your bog for your precious son, Coy. Chris, let me say that I can't wait to hear the latest good news from your mom, but now I too can visit this site to actually see pictures of your entire new family. Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of this miracle. Coy is without a doubt in our prayers, but I keep you two and your mom Kathy also in my prayers so that you will have all that you need to be there for Coy. I look forward to seeing the progress that Coy will be making these coming weeks and months. God certainly is doing some good things with your precious son. Praise God! Blessing to you all, Patty Sanderson
I know you don't know me, but I am praying for you and little Coy. Preemies are extra special because each accomplishment, each breath he takes, each CC of milk he ingests, the first time he opens his eyes, etc. will be celebrated and cherished. God is holding little Coy in the palm of his hand, and He is the Great Physician and healer. My twin boys were born at 27 weeks (they are now 2) and they pray for "Beeeeehby Oy" every night before bedtime. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures! God bless! Shyanne Meekins
Chris and AnnMarie- My sister has been keeping me updated on Coy's progress. I just wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong and let God lead the way. -Lisa Gattis
The Jahnke Canucks are praying for you guys. We are sure God's Glory will be shown through Coy's amazing life. Stay strong and positive and keep enjoying your miracle.
Chris & Ann Marie-Just wanted to let you know that you and precious Coy are being lifted up in prayers from New Life Lutheran Church in Dripping Springs. We continue to pray that God will be your refuge and strength. My mom, Anna Meyer has been keeping me posted. I have been on the receiving end of some of Kathy's prayers and they are powerful so I know God's grace and love are focused on Coy. Angie Meyer
Chris and Ann Marie, I have been looking at your blog for the past week or so and just now noticed that you can leave comments... Wow I'm slow! I just want to let you know that you are in my prayers everyday. Both of you stay strong. Love, August
